ARIS international cooperation
Through international cooperation at the institutional level, ARIS actively helps shape the European Research Area, strengthens Slovenia's scientific links with the world and contributes to its integration into global scientific currents.
ARIS works with organisations that shape research policies, funding standards and the development of open science. In doing so, it contributes to aligning the Slovenian research system with European and global practices.
ARIS works with the following organisations:
- Science Europe,
- Global Research Council,
- CoARA,
- Coalition S,
- UNESCO SCIENCE.
Science Europe is an association of European organisations that fund or carry out research. ARIS is a founding member.
The association develops common positions on:
- research policies
- open science,
- research careers,
- research infrastructures,
- evaluating research.
ARIS representatives participate in working groups. Cooperation allows national practices to be aligned with European guidelines.
An international platform for heads of national research agencies, promoting the coordination of research funding policies and the exchange of best practices worldwide.
An international coalition of organisations working to reform the way research is evaluated, with a greater emphasis on quality, diverse contributions and open science.
