International cooperation
International cooperation is an important part of the development of scientific research in Slovenia. ARIS enables Slovenian researchers to participate in European and other international initiatives.
The role of ARIS
ARIS works internationally as a national funder of research projects and as a partner in European and other international funding schemes. It participates in the preparation of joint calls, facilitates the international evaluation of projects and finances the Slovenian part of projects in international consortia.
By working with European agencies, partnerships and organisations, ARIS contributes to the harmonisation of national practices with international standards and to the development of the European Research Area.
