Data analysis

ARIS collects, analyses and publishes data on scientific research and innovation activities in Slovenia and internationally. The data provide an overview of the funding, development and results of the research and innovation system.

Data, indicators, analyses and publications are available on the ARIS Data Portal and the RDI Hub, which serves as the central resource for data on the funding and development of scientific research and innovation activity.

The collection, processing and publication of data is based on the principles of neutrality, professional independence, methodological consistency and transparency.

The portal provides a clear content search, interactive display and data export for further analysis. Indicators, analyses, publications, methodological materials and an online database are available.

The portal publishes indicators to monitor the implementation of research and innovation policy, including:

Policy 05 – Science and the information society,
Policy 14 – Entrepreneurship and competitiveness,
indicators for monitoring the implementation of ReZrIS30 in the framework of the RDI Hub.

The indicators allow the monitoring of trends, the structure of funding and the impact of research and innovation measures.

The portal provides data and analysis on:

the scope and structure of funding,
the distribution of funds across areas, institutions and instruments,
multi-year trends,
international comparisons.

The white paper presents an annual review of research funding in Slovenia.

The publication provides a comprehensive overview of the structure and volume of public funding and makes it possible to follow the evolution of the research system.

The portal offers a wide range of publications and expert materials, including:

reports on the structure, results and impact of research projects,
other professional materials on research and innovation.

Methodology documents are also published to help interpret the data correctly:

methodological explanations on data collection and processing,

The documents ensure the transparency, comparability and traceability of published data.

The Slovenian Research and Innovation Database (SiRIData) is an online platform for accessing data on scientific research and innovation activity in Slovenia.

The data is available in a structured format that allows easy filtering, analysis and further use. Users can download it in different formats (Excel, CSV, JSON-stat) or access it via an API for use in their own tools, analyses and applications.
