Since 2023, ARIS has discontinued public calls for (co)financing the Slovenian part of Weave joint research projects, where ARIS acts as a partner agency. Instead, (co)financing is now provided through direct contracts. Applicants can find further information at the following link: Weave - information for applicants (valid from November 5th 2024)

• Anticipated date of publication of results: January 2026
• Estimated start of (co)financing the Slovenian part of the Weave research projects: 1. March 2026

When completing the WEAVE-GAČR/2025 application form, the applicant must state in the application the total amount of requested (co)financing for each national/regional part of the Weave research project expressed in EUR. The amounts must correspond to the amounts stated in the joint application of the Weave research project submitted to the lead agency (GA ČR). In doing so, it is necessary to consider the possible exchange rate published by the leading agency (GA ČR). In the event that the leading agency has not published the exchange rate, the exchange rate published by the Bank of Slovenia on the day of the opening of the possibility to submit the Slovenian part of the Weave research project application to ARIS must be considered for the conversion from foreign currency to EUR.
